HAVE QUESTIONS
ABOUT
TINY TIGERS?

What age is Tiny Tigers suitable for?

Tiny Tigers is designed specifically for children aged 4 to 6 years. Every class, activity and coaching method is adapted to suit the physical, emotional and developmental needs of young beginners.

Does my child need previous martial arts experience?

No. Tiny Tigers is designed for complete beginners. Many children joining the program have never participated in martial arts before.

Is Tiny Tigers safe?

Yes. Safety is our highest priority. Classes are closely supervised by experienced instructors and activities are carefully adapted for children aged 4–6. The emphasis is on learning, movement and confidence rather than aggressive contact.

What is Sanda Kickboxing?

Sanda is a modern Chinese martial art that combines kicking, punching and movement skills. In Tiny Tigers, children are introduced to these fundamentals through age-appropriate games, drills and supervised pad work in a safe and structured environment.

Will my child be sparring?

No. Tiny Tigers is focused on developing movement, coordination, confidence and basic skills. Activities are appropriate for the age group and are not designed as full-contact sparring.

What happens during a typical class?

Each class includes a warm-up, movement activities, balance and coordination exercises, beginner Sanda techniques, supervised pad work and fun skill-based games, finishing with a cool-down and class review.

My child is shy. Will they fit in?

Absolutely. Many children begin quietly. Our instructors encourage participation at each child’s own pace while creating a welcoming and supportive environment where confidence can develop naturally.

My child has lots of energy. Is Tiny Tigers suitable?

Yes. Tiny Tigers provides structured physical activity that encourages children to move, learn and channel their energy positively while following class routines.

If you’re unsure which program is the best fit, our instructors will happily help you choose.

After the class, one of our instructors will answer your questions, discuss your child’s experience and recommend the most suitable program moving forward. There is no pressure to join.
